I can still remember those fantasies and ideas about what I can become when I grow up. All those dreams and visions are still somewhere inside my head. I know I’m not the only dreamer out there. I’m sure that there’s plenty of us.
“There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.”
[Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist]
Remember how you saw the world when you were a kid? I dare you to remember. Everything was so simple and easy. Your only worry was what game to play and who to play it with. The days sometimes seemed so long, and you had the feeling that the summer holidays lasted for eternity.
Back then, everything seemed possible. Fairytales existed in our heads. We thought we can grow up and become anything we could imagine, even a superhero or a princess.
At some point, we tell ourselves that some things are just not going to happen. We face the harsh reality that is shown to us. Our mind gets full of limitations that hold us back.
We stop dreaming. – Actually, we don’t. We just stop believing in dreams.
Failure, disappointment, negativity turn into doubt. Fear of failure makes us turn our back on our inner child, on our dreams. Let us face those scary parts and find the courage to make our dreams alive and to make them matter to us. Let us dream big and commit to our desires. Damn, if we want to be a superhero, we can sure be one. Let’s go over our limitations.
Set your mind free. Feel. Whatever. You want to feel. Say. Everything. That needs to be sad. Take. Anything. That is supposed to be. Yours. Live. By the fullest. Every single second. Dream. Beautiful dreams. Every day. Every night. Enjoy. The beauty of life. Dear. To make your deepest wish. Reality.
What you thought. Is a dream. Is as real as it seems.
Let’s START dreaming again. Let us STOP making excuses and letting the society tell us how to live our lives. Let us FOCUS on positive thinking and creating our own happiness. It doesn’t matter what others think about it. It’s not them we need to please. We are the ones who need to believe in ourselves. Relying on others to make us happy, leads us nowhere. We have to acknowledge our dreams. Let us live our own dreams. Nothing is impossible!
So, never give up, even if you fail at the beginning. This is a process. It’s not something that happens overnight. But if you’re willing to live your dreams, it’s worth every single step of the way.
Never the less, the feeling you get from achieving your dreams and goals is priceless.
