Here’s To The New Memories.

Here’s to my dearest, sweetest friends who I love from the bottom of my heart.

“I get by with a little help from my friends.”
[John Lennon]

The year is slowly coming to its end, and I’m here to thank all the people in my life for all they have done for me.

My dearest friends and family, I’m so grateful for having you in my life, more than words can ever say. You are the voice of my motivation and inspiration. You are my knits in shining armor. So thank you for being there for me in my brightest as in my darkest times.

This year was huge for me. As you all can see, I’ve managed to start my own blog, to share my thoughts and ideas with you. I can say that I’m really proud of myself to accomplish that. It was one of the obstacles that I could manage to go through.

And as we are already standing before the door of the new year, let me tell you the story, how the last new years eve was the best new years eve ever.

Me and my two girlfriends were discussing, how to celebrate the new years eve. We decided, to have a party on our own, at one of a girls apartment. Before midnight, we planed to go to the city center to celebrate.

Oh what a plan it was.

The new years eve was rushing in, as I was staying two nights in a row at my “special friends” place. We were partying for two days before new years, as if we were twenty. On the 31st of December, my friends already texted in our group chat like a thousand times. But no answer from me. I was passed out until 3 pm in the afternoon. Then, as my special friend and I finally woke up, he invited us to a cabin in mountains, where he was supposed to entertain the guests. To make it more clear, he is a professional accordion player, who plays at a lot of such parties.

Of course my two BFFs were in, immediately.

So I packed all of my things, sat in a car and drove to pick them up. Finally, we were on the road to have a new years party. But the trick here was, the cabin was not so close. As we were driving, it was like the best time ever. Private car party. We were supposed to pick up also one friend of mine, but as we got to his house, we found out, he was already passed out. So we needed to hit the road without him.

We’ve somehow managed to come to the end of the road that leads to the cabin. As we took our things out of the car, we could start the hike to the cabin. It was already dark. The clock was ticking very fast. It looked like, the road was never going to end. At least, we managed to reach the cabin. You would never believe, but it was already half midnight!

We blended in to the group of people there and in a blink of a second we had the best new years party ever. Of course, we were the light of the party. 😉

The next morning, as we woke up, we set on the front terrace of the cabin, had some coffee and shots. The weather was perfect, so sunny and warm. We didn’t want to go back home yet… So there we were, staying yet another day in the mountains, breathing fresh air and having the best time of our life.

For safety reasons, I left all the juicy details out of the story out. Because “what happens in the mountains, stays in the mountains.”

How I would celebrate these new years eve, I don’t know yet. We’ll see. Let’s just wait until 31st December. 😉
